Closed Issue: Path gets set to C:\ no matter what... [983]

Hey thanks for creating this, fantastic integration into Central Admin etc.
 
One issue I did notice though is that even if I specify D:\BlobCache\14, the path gets set to C:\BlobCache\14, no matter what. I had to go in and manually edit my web.config to use the desired path D:\BlobCache\14. 
 
Also, once I made the change to my web.config, Central Admin still showed C:\BlobCache\14, as though it wasn't reading the value correctly from the web.config.
 
Anyone else noticed this?

Applied modified code from patch 13459:

More efficient SPWebConfigModification changes: Sometimes the changes were not applied because repeating changes are blocked. Now if there old changes by this solution they are removed first and then the new ones are added.

Applied modified code from patch 13459:

More efficient SPWebConfigModification changes: Sometimes the changes were not applied because repeating changes are blocked. Now if there old changes by this solution they are removed first and then the new ones are added.

Project Description
Manage your web application's blobcache settings directly in the central administration.

A button will be added to the ribbon interface where you manage your web applications' blobcache settings.

Also works with SharePoint 2013!
The project has been built with framework v4 for SharePoint 2013 and is confirmed to work in the SharePoint 2013 environment:

When you select a web application it will be enabled:

When clicked, a dialog box will open where you can define certain settings regarding the blobcache:

Click OK or Cancel and you will be notified whether the change has been applied:
